Impetus seeks transformation for clients and organizations by acting as an advisor and coach to leaders and executive teams on strategy, organizational development, and leadership.   

  • Executive coaching for senior leadership to transform individual and organizational performance. The coaching approach is non-directive and motivated by the belief that a client has the talent and resources to lead their own development and transformation, supported by the committed listening, challenge, and thought partnership of an executive coach.  Impetus clients work in a spectrum of industries including energy, construction, health services, pharmaceutical development, philanthropy, and professional services.   

  • Advisory support:  With more than two decades of experience in the philanthropic sector, Impetus specializes in serving funders (and their partners), social enterprises, and public-private partnerships to achieve their organizational aims.  Impetus supports clients to translate a philanthropic vision into strategy, and to develop the organization to support strategy execution. The approach is similar to coaching (supporting the client to lead themselves), while grounded in deep sector expertise.
